Wow thats some good stuff. Those Zooks are some sweet looking machines - the slow-mo footage was great, too.

Best of luck to Roger and his crew this year !

Whopps have always been Reeds strong point. RC on the other hand had more corner speed than anyone else but wasn't always in control when it came to the whoops.

RC didn't look to bad for a guy that has been racing cars for the last few years.

I bet it's still hard for him to let (not that he can control it) Reed pull away from him.

Great video. Love it. You can tell it was bugging RC to not be able to really beat Chad there, and he said how he'd get there by the end of the day!

I am sure it was hard for him. He is the most completive rider that I have ever been around and he’s been like that since he was 8 years old.

Wouldn't you be?

Reed was always a little afraid of RC and then James. Must be nice to have RC out of his head. Could be just what he needs to take the next step.

Just as RC was when he dethroned McGrath.

Nothing wrong with that.

also gotta realize all the testing in suspension and such reed has done in the past few months.. Im sure RC does testing but not neer to the extent reed does since he is accually racing. Reed wouldnt be pulling a bit from RC in the whoops if RC had done all the testing for suspension this year..

But I give chad props, he looks VERY good on the yellow machine.

Whoops have always been RCs week point.

Kinda different situation. McGrath was still training, racing, and trying to win titles.

Reed's beating a retired RC who's doing little more than helping train the team riders.

Doesn't really matter. No different than if you were to catch up to someone that has always kicks your ass. It's just a good feeling and no big deal .

Reed into that left turn, triple, quad, (edit)quad is awesome to watch. Lots of shred being gnarred up out there!

I'm not sure how it would make Reed feel. First off, RC put it to him when it mattered (which isn't now).

Second, RC doesn't ride or train like he was when it was still his full time occupation. I'm sure he's still following some sort of regimen, but nothing like it was.

I just wonder how much more speed RC picked up "by the end of the day".

It's "...gnar being shredded." - FYI.
