Here's an idea... Why don't we all just discuss what we see in the race in one thread...

RV Looked smoking in that heat... And Hill is beaten down... Mustn't be fun riding with injuries...

Good ride by Chisholm in the heat. He kept Dungey at bay for longer than I thought he would. Hopefully that is not a sign that the track will lend itself to 'follow the leader' all night long.

What I saw was RV ran a 1.03.243 on lap 7 of his heat race and RD ran a 1.04.161 on his best lap in his heat race on a smoother track! That track gets rougher by the lap. That's what I saw...

The longer lap times mean that all the races last longer than usual so they seem to have cut the lcq's and the podium speeches to get the racing in.

Used to be 3 hours, now it's down to 2.5. So 2.5 hours for how many hours of actuel racing? I'd rather see the lcq's instead of Short, walking around..

I agree! Pourcel = some kind of variation of human

LOL i almost want to either drop to the ground laughing or drink a tequila shot to how smooth he rides a 250F yet goes so fast and looks slower too, wierd but amazing, just effin amazing.

That's because you've never raced and you don't know what it's like to test different lines in a race situation! He was testing the track to see where he could make up time and make a pass. You can't follow the guy in front of you. You have to try different lines...

His style remainds me of Stefan Everts. Looks like he's cruising, but made the fastest lap times. Amazing .....

That was bad but it could've been worse. He still absorbed a lot of the impact before hitting the ground. Really hope he is ok.


How come gate pick for a restart doesn't go according to their position when the race was red-flagged?

Hate to say it but i kept telling myself from the beginning of the night that those guys are getting lucky on that section from time to time, it just always looked dangerous, sucks to see this happen.
