...living in Sao Paulo Brazil.....The rich guy I rode for bought some property and built a track in the middle of the city for me...

You gotta be Uber rich to do something like that. Who was it?
He puts out some hints the guy owned Car and Driver and a bunch of other mags.

Then Hollywood cigarettes picked him up for WAY more money. LOL

That was a good podcast, dude had a pretty nice moto career getting kinda shafted in the US, cleaning up in Brazil, doing well in the gps then winning 5 GNCC titles, the last one at 40!

He has a lot of positive energy. I like his advice to focus on championships not factory rides. What a entertaining podcast.

I was just a kid watching Rodney on "Motoworld" back when he was crushing the offroad circuit. Years later I've gotten to work with Rodney at a few events because he rides for RT, and wow, while I was star struck a bit because he was a hero growing up, he's pure class. And was also crazy to hear how loyal he's been to his sponsors throughout his career. Whether it's RT, FMF, Suzuki, etc., pretty neat to see. Has quite a few fast up and coming kids he is training as well.
