PulpMX crashed?

First 10 minutes or so of the podcast was fine, then just stopped. Can't even get on the site now. Anyone else?

Yeah he just tweeted the server company said they thought it was a hack attack and killed the server.

It is down. Matthes tweeted that the server company thought everyone logging in to listen was a denial of service attack and shut down the site. They are working on getting it back on.

Ryan Dungey and Vince Friese have truly broken the internet!

I hope one of these seasons he'll finally get all this worked out. Its frustrating, especially on the shows that are anticipated to be really good.

Does the server company not know he does a show that has ALOT of listeners? Call first before shutting down his show?! Dry

Ok . . . I have not listened live for a long time. I'm glad VitalMx was here to confirm my suspicions.

Yep its widespread. The stream for the show isn't working not matter if you try to use the app or the site.

I've pretty much given up on listening to pulp live. It either buffers constantly and then kicks me out or I just can't connect at all. I wait till Tuesday morning and listen at work on Stitcher. I would love it if I could listen live again. Steve, any plans to address this?

I try to take pulp seriously but things like this make me wonder.. outsourcing your tech to swizcore etc and this is what happens.

there are tons of reliable server hosts out there in the market, it's not hard to find one.

That sounds like an issue on your end. I have never had trouble listening live unless it is something like this where the entire broadcast gets shut down and my internet service is far from a top notch package as far as speed goes.

I've tried wirelessly as well as wired directly to the router and it makes no difference. I've even tested my download speed and its exceptionally fast. Maybe its proximity to the server? I don't know but it's been an issue for me for a long time.

It's funny how we want things so immediately these days. A few decades ago, August Motocross Action Magazine would hit our news stands in October or November. Now, I just gotta-gotta have the Twitter feed to follow the race as it happens.

All the excitement ( and a really bad knee) had me take time off to listen live today, and I am bummed to be missing out !!! I'll catch up tomorrow.

Thanks to Steve Matthes for putting on the show, he has really made a great contribution to the sport in terms of access to info that we would not have otherwise. That said, he will have to go to the next level in terms of his broadcasting setup to keep things accessible to the huge audience he must have these days.

This isn't on Swizcore, I believe they pay a fairly well know server host to host the site/show and the host has failed them on numerous occasions

It's not uncommon for the app to have issues with the live stream during popular shows. I listen to just about every show live and have noticed this over the years. Going to pulpmxshow.com to listen is generally pretty reliable unless this type of problem happens.
