Why doesn't Pourcel move up. How long is he going to stay in the Lites class. He talks about racing little boys but does he move up? NO. Every thread I read the Euros are all talking trash about how Pourcel will be winning this and winning that. Seriously, is there a reason or does he like to race the "little boys"?

He is moving up next year. He would have done it this year but with the team cutbacks he did not find the deal he was looking for.

You do realize how serious his accident was right? how he has come back from that, (and he dealt with the ongoing health problems caused by the after effects from it all last summer), is truly amazing.

Way too many people overlook what he has had to overcome.

So his injuries were such that he can ride a Lites bike but not a 450? I understand now, thanks.

I totally get what you're saying about his injuries, it does seem like he's ready to race the big boys. Then again, I'm sure he's making good money this year.

Didn't RV and RC win the title twice and still not move up?...

Pourcel can do what he wants, I think he feels he is owed the championship because the only reason he lost last year was his engine broke. I would love to see him on a 450 but he is still pretty young. With the way he rides he could spend 10 years on a 450.

Plus the 450 schedule is alot longer and maybe he thought his health was not at the point where he could handle it.

Why say this now and not at the beginning of the sx season ?

And lets be honest. Most the population on here thought Barcia was going to be CP's rival.....

I'll enjoy CP when he moves up. He's gonna kick ass.

I could state plenty of facts why he chose to race the 250 one more year, and would it matter? Probably not, your mind is already made up.

Ever heard what one big regret that RC has throughout his career?

You guessed it, not staying one more full year in the 125 class.

Regardless, next year 450 class is going to be incredible with the riders that weren't healthy this year returning, and the young guns moving up (Weimer, Canard and Pourcel just to name a few) I think that is one fact that we can all agree on!

Where did this come from? Was it news to you that Pourcel was in the lites class this year again? Or are you upset because he wants to finish out his season on the lites bike?

I believe Pourcel himself said that with the health problems he has had he would have problems doing 17 rounds of Supercross. On top of that he was hurt during the opening rounds this year.

Cut the kid some slack, he's made such a massive comeback and he's trying to play the rest of his career smart, wouldn't you?

How long has Weimer been in the lites ?....what about Metcalfe ?

Pourcel has raced 1 national series and just finishing his second supercross season.

He's just better than the other riders....get over it.

Barcia was so hyped to be the second coming but hasn't shown he can run up front every round. Pourcel has shown me a lot more and not only with speed but his bike control. I believe he will be a front runner next year in the big bike class for sure. The 450 class next year will be stacked even if one or two riders get hurt.
