Pensacola FL tracks?

I’m going to Florida with my family for New Years and I don’t feel like sitting on the beach for a week. Does anyone have any recommendations? Looking for mx or sx tracks within an hour or so of Pensacola? Preferably something they groom regularly.

Milton mx, Atmore is just outside Mobile about 40min from P'cola. The P'cola raceway has a track now as well, not sure what days it is open. Walter Bartran built it a few months ago

P'cola Dirt Track on Old Corry Field Road had Walter come in over the winter and spring and help them build a track, been open since May.

My apologies... I’m going to be in Jacksonville. Any suggestions for there?

Ditto on WW. NFMX is fun, I also liked Waldo.
Lots of choices in Florida.

WW is closed to open practice, you will have to check the website to see when he may open for a day of riding.

Tracks within an hour of Jacksonville
Waldo, North Florida, Dirt Farm, Alma MX, Pax Trax, Sunshine MX

With in 2 hr drive
Orlando MX and Spyder MX, Hardrock(but not recommended because of thieves), Diamondback and Gatorback (same property) but only open for races like WW.

North Florida is the closest, the jumps are very small in length, Waldo is a good lengthy track with a good layout, Pax Trax has 2 good tracks(main and intermediate/Beginner) with mostly table top jumps, Main track gets beefed up during bike week, Orlando MX is mostly a sand track and gets rough, good for training, Spyder is hard pack unless he tilled it deep, good layout. Alma, Dirt Farm and Sunshine are clay like North Florida and jumps are bigger.

Alma is usually groomed up, it’s a great place. NFMX has good dirt but gets boring quick. Sunshine state mx is in Jasper if you like big jumps.
