Pala Traffic???

supposedly fixed this. added 2 lanes in and out and new parking on land adjacent.

i heard that parking was going to be free also in order to help speed up the process...

I went from nowhere, CA to Pala ( pronounced Paul-a by the way for the announcers) about 3 weeks ago to ride and the lanes were still the same, one way each way..........maybe they will make all the lanes go in at that time, and then all lanes go out when it ends?

Donwandup, they did not change Route 76, they made it so that all lanes from the road lead in and you park (free) and then go to the ticket windows and turnstiles on foot. There is also a second entrance and they made a much bigger parking lot. And they have the full attention of the CHP and local authorities who will help with traffic flow from the interstate out and back.

That's the plan they showed us, but I will be there tomorrow to have a look.

was at Pala on Friday, route 76 was under construction by the casino, hope it's finished by this Sat.

I think they are just working on the outsides of that little bridge. It won't have any affect on the traffic though.
