It would be cool but I feel like he'd be behind with the training. I'm sure the Dungey deal has been in the works for a bit and he's been getting ready.

Ughh, wasn't he doing pretty well for a guy who already had one foot out the door? He won a GP and was battling with the leaders when he crashed out...

Chatted with RV last weekend for a bit, at the Idaho vintage race. He's having a ball at periodic events, with no pressure.

Says he's gonna keep it that way, and even enjoy a periodic brew after the days ride. He was smiling alot Cool

And they were going to finally make some changes to the bike that he wanted for the next round. People forget he was promised his bike from the US and didn't get anything like it. They finally gave in and were set to start building then he got hurt.

No, he was satisfying the last year of a Kawasaki contract and chose to cross the Atlantic to do so. Villopoto, from what I recall, was always respectful of the MXGP competitors and race series. What was projected on him from fans here and there was rarely respectful.

Pretty much….
He wanted out and that was his option. The Larry poop out was a blessing in disguise. He’s way happier and living his life. He wants nothing to do with trying to race these guys at this level every weekend. I don’t blame him one bit, he’s financially set, he’s chosen the proper path !

Holeshot the first moto, gap 2nd place by 5 seconds. Pulls off lap 4 at Coors Light tent. Call it a day.

He might be there with a BBQ and keg. I'd be doing the same if I was in his shoes.
