Any of you guys tried P90X? I'm starting it next week and was wondering how your results were and how well you think it helps with motocross. Thanks.

I have it and use it. I mostly do the Ab Ripper X and the Yoga X. I have not done the full 90 day program, but I have seen good results from working in portions of P90X to my regular routine. And I use the videos a lot when I travel and don't have access to a real gym.

Tony Horton is a big skiier and is into action sports.

I only do it around 2 weeks at a time and it really works.

If I actually did it for 90 days it would have a profound effect on my physical fitness.

The kind of workout it is is very good for MXing but the problem is that the workout is so strenous that you will barely be able to move seriousl limiting your ability to ride MX fast for the time being.

Yeah we'll have snow on the ground for the next two months anyway so I don't have to worry about riding. I tried to plyometrics last night and the only problem I'm having is that I just had my knee scoped 3 weeks ago and some of the stretching was to much. Thanks for the replys!

IMO, the plyometrics workout is the toughest of the lot. I'm sore for days afterwards.

Yeah it's def. going to be intense. I wanna do loretta's in the VET B class next season so I have to get in shape. I just wondered if this was a good way to go about it. Sounds pretty promising so far!
