Blasting through Portland region on I5 Thursday around dinner on the way to a family wedding near BC, looking for recommendations for a "don't miss" bbq/good grub/hot food trucks spot. Not a fine dining place, but a chow down on excellent stuff before hopping back on the road.

Best BBQ in the Portland area hands down is Christopher's on MLK blvd rit off I-5, I would not steer you wrong when it comes to food

Hey FreshTopEnd check out Daddy D's BBQ it's in Vancouver, WA on your way north. I thought Famous Daves was good BBQ until I discovered this bbq place. It's in a Shell gas station but he has a sit down area and he marinates the meat for a good 12-16 hours. I love good BBQ and have been searching for good BBQ ever since this little hole in the wall about 2 hours outside of Dallas I discovered during my travels. Here's the info and the urbanspoon info and get the 7-up cake you won't be dissapointed!

Should be a fun race to go hang out and watch. Sounds like it could be a great day for sure. No 2 strokin' for me.....don't own one , but I sure would like to watch a bunch of them race.

yeah a bit banged up but i shoulod be good by the 16th. i heard pingree is coming to the race. this two stroke thing is going to be off the hook even though im just racing the high points that weekend. they never expected it to grow like this. joey said he just wanted it to be a fun race but now its turned into a job now.maybe we can get everyone together one night somewhere for dinner

You better watch your Honda ridin' ass this weekend at Burntridge! I am going to go all "Friese" on your ass up in the berm! haha

FTE, I would love to meet you for dinner up there @ Christopers, hell we will even bring Jeffro along. Its by far the best bbq I haev ever had and the sauce is 2nd to none! The ribs, rib tips and bbq chicken drumettes are the shit dreams are made of!
