Anyone know expected retail ? I want one, those things are like sex for your skull !!

My BIG QUESTION is how did some local trail turkey guy end up having one, I have been gauking on this lid since I saw DM18 wearing one so I KNOW it was an AX-8...it looked like it had a red-bull paint job on it !?!?

How is the weight compared to an Airoh? I love the Airoh due to it being lighter than any helmet I have used, but the AGV is a better looking helmet.

The overall graphics look sick. But the front breathin area is a little to obnoxious looking to me. Just to big in the front.

No... that would be oral.

And those helmets fell straight out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on their way down.

The weight is close to the Airoh, average of 2.2 lbs, although we think the Airoh is lighter. Interesting how they uses the same material, the same technology as most of us and still manage to get that light... Smile

What does the Pastrana replica AX-8 look like?
It will be a "TP199/Nitro CIrcus" Signature and not a "Pastrana Replica". A "Pastrana replica" would actually be a "Red Bull replica", first of, we cannot work with RB and secondly, we rather have more character and rider's personality in the design when we commercialize a helmet graphic.

We cannot show the TP199 Signature graphics yet, but it's... very Travis Smile .

Is there going to be a mt-x version too? The ax-8 is a little out of my price league.

Unfortunately no, just an AX-8 version.
In the MT-X we are finalizing a Philippaerts (Monster) replica which is looking pretty cool.

When will the TP199 AX-8 be released? Can you release the date or atleast an aproximate one? I need a helmet soon and I want to see if I should wait for the TP199 AX-8
10/18/2010 1:51pm
Yes Joey, we are not sure it will be soon enough for you because the helmet should be released at the DealerExpo in Indy in February. That's 4 months away.

Sweet! Any more MT-X models coming out soon?

nothing else new really coming out soon, we do have the normal colors like these "TP06" (nothing to do with TP himself, just the name OCD used for these), orange, red, green, blue, black/gold

and also have these ones available in the US directly through AGV USA:
