I was at the creek Sunday. My rider, (Hillbilly) Dave Albert, won the plus 45 class and 5th in 40 plus. Weather was perfect, cool in the morning then mid 60's afternoon with sunshine. Fairly good turnout of riders, I have seen more here before. Did not get much chance to talk with Kevin Walker as he was upset about the pit parking arrangement and was not in a talking mood at the time I saw him. the races to watch were the B classes as Cody Robbins (KAW) and some Rife kid from Ohio,I believe, who was on 09 Honda's. They put on clinics in their races. Zach Osbourn showed up as smoked the MX A class, Austin Albers,Willard from Ohio(?) Walker did well today as always as he has speed at Muddy Creek. Track was way too fast, needed to be ripped or something. Whatever happened to "rough" MX tracks, real racing in my book!
Anyway, was a great weekend, great fall weather, good fellowship and good racing. Enjoyed it, now get ready for local indoor series coming up and wait til next spring for outdoor racing. Peace out,

It was nothing and was worked out in the end......got to say that Kevin rode really well and finished 2nd oa in the lites class and 3rd oa in the 450 class and won the 35+ class. Not to shabby going on 39 & to be the oldest person in both A classes. His speed is coming back and will be ready for next year. Congrats to Hillbilly and Greg Quador on his finishes in the +45 and +50 classes and also a big thanks for letting Kevin ride his bike this weekend! We owe ya big time!

That "rife" kid is shawn rife. He's super fast but has had a year and more of injuries. Glad to see him back! Great family too!!!

Rife and Robbins were both rolling in the B classes. Matt Bell and Justin Coley were not too far behind them. In the 65cc classes it was Alex Frye on his KTM dominating the 10-11 and Joe Balkovic, who has come a long long way, in the 65 open. Daniel Baker was the fastest 85cc rider winning the 85 12-13 and the 85 9-13 fairly easily. In the 9-11 85 class Alex Frye and Jarek Balkovic were the two fastest but a second moto first turn crash derailed Balkovics efforts. Shane McElrath won the Supermini and Schoolboy 1 class.

One nice trend I saw was that nearly half of the bikes in the MX Lites A class were 2 strokes. I'm pretty sure 4 out of the top 5 were on the,. I know Walker, Neese and Albers were on them.

I would have to say that Zach was prob the only fast FACTORY rider and the rest of the field were FAST A riders. LOL Zach does ride for FACTORY UTAG YAMAHA in europe.

Other fast A riders included Jim Neese, KW859, Austin Albers, Tyler Wharton, Brad Modjewski. Osborne was in a class of his own.

Forgot about Ryan Smith and Willard. Both were running in the top 5 or so. Willard had finishes in the top 5, Smith was really fast but had a couple of crashes. Tyler Bright was there as well. Best battle of the weekend was between Ryan Smith on what looked to be a new 450 Honda and Tyler Wharton.

Yea I talked to Ryan and he was pumped to be up there running with Tyler. I think he actually had him covered in the last moto and like you said he had a mishap. And yes he was on a new Honda 450 and he loves it....

One spectator I talked to said he looked like he was struggling with the handling on that new 450. He stated that the bike was all over the track.

I do like the 09 450 allot. I haven't done anything to the bike except put a number 2 with electrical tape on the number plates. The weekend was good. I had some crashes but all in all i rode pretty strong for 2nd time on 450 in bout a year.

STFU NOOB!!! You at least should set the sag on the damn thing before you ride it! lol.

Guy said you was riding good but the bike was kinda swapping a bit, of course it does tend to do that when you are WFO. I was curious to how it looked as I am considering getting one.

You living in Danville now? I thought you had a penthouse with a lake view at Sugartree? lol

Yeah, the plan is to be there unless it rains like hell. I will check you out when I see ya,

been watching you ride since you were on PW's and used to argue like hell with your dad when he was the local ref. lol.

We will have to get together and ride, I have a key to the gate at Birch.
