My boy is 15. 5'11" 150lbs. Can I just buy him just the right size Leatte siggested by the manufact? Or should I take him down to Chaparral and have him try one on. I buy a lot from BTO via the mail but just want to make sure I get him the right one?
Thanks guys.

I agree with CamP, go for the medium.

I'm 5' 10" 158lbs and the medium fits perfectly.

I'm 5'9", 175lbs..medium. Agree with everyone above. I'm a Leatt dealer and I fit them and sell them all the time...medium it is.

Save the money.

False sense of security, and a lighter wallet. Those are what you get for $400.

Talk to Joe at BTO very knowledgeable .... Great friend of mine and his bro owns the company and JOe is the nuts and bolts of BTO

Tell him my buddy Darrell, said you would take good care of me.

Tell that to James marshall.
I will spend the money and toss a couple numbers to one side of the scale even if it's only a few. No amount of money spent on protective gear is enough these days.

My advice is take the kid down there to try one on (with his chest protector if he wears one). Let him try the fitment on and make sure he can get used to riding with it before you buy. I love mine, I have a medium as well, but if he wears a chest protector make sure it fits the Leatt.
