I just can't wrap my head around seeing two KXF's with the #2 on them. Will Kawasaki have a #2 with a KINGS CROWN on the # plates for MC when he and RV do PR work ?

I think they'll rely on the names on their jerseys, and other visual differences such as gear sponsors.
People who know who they are after they retired will be able to figure it out, especially the real big fans.

That's easy, just put a #1 on MC's. Problem solved. Tongue

Villopoto should have the number one on his bike seeing how he won every championship that he entered and didn't miss a round.

and Villopoto didn't duck the outdoor nationals either... edit... What this about Poto not missing a national?

I got Poto ahead of mc-supercross but come on... Poto won 12 overalls outdoors in a possible 6 years, 2 champ...

he lost 2 250f sx series. he lost the 2010 championship due to injury. well pretty much any "national" series he didnt win was due to an injury

RV didn't duck out of the nationals like MC, he ducked out of racing altogether. What was MC's last year outdoors? '97 at the earliest? That would have made him 26 at the time. RV competed in his last Supercross race at the age of 25 and retired completely at 26. MC called it quits at the beginning of 2003 I believe at the age of 32? I wouldn't say MC ducked out at all comparing the two of them. Let's not forget, MC didn't even start racing MX until he was 15 because he was busy killing it on a bicylce!

Edit: More fun facts.... MC never missed a season due to injury if I recall correctly. RV missed part of SX in '09, and '10. Missed entire outdoor series' in '09, '10, '12, and '14. RV competed in only 5 National Motocross Championships. MC competed in 9. RV competed in only 6 big bike SX championships. MC competed in 10.

You are making a very BIG assumption that RV will be doing "PR work".

Your comment was funny.
The whole "who's the better champion" thing can be debated until the end of time.

This statement which is not based on facts or reality is what kicked the whole thread right in the babymaker:

"Villopoto should have the number one on his bike seeing how he won every championship that he entered and didn't miss a round."

Anyone know RV's career win percentage?

250 SX win %
250 MX win %
450 SX win %
450 MX win %

Not out of possible races, but races entered.

Simple F*cking question, did Jeremy Mcgrath ever sign a Supercross only contract in his career???
This is a yes or no question...

edit: spelling...

I counted ALL the races as a group...

small supercross class

large supercross class

small motocross class

large motocross class

It starts to make you dizzy counting... got info from Davey's Stats...

Poto raced 183 of the big four above...

Poto WON 83 of the big four above...

POTO HAS A WIN % OF 45.3%
