McGrath's records are as big as they are only because Bayle retired from the sport.

91 Daytona, JMB goes down in the 1st corner, crashes again, and still pulls off a podium, This is the REAL Daytona.

Scottie, you got Tampa Bay 1991 (maybe 1992)? He laid back the whole main in 6th or 7th until 2 laps to go, then cobbed on it and won.

Here's the link to the video of that uncredible race...

It said "Tampa 1991", but in fact, it is "Tampa 1992". Enjoy!!!

Watch the first vid bd posted with no sound. Just watch the dude ride,
There are two people he reminds me of and that is Roger DeCoster and Malcomb Smith.
No matter what the bikes are doing under them their heads barley move. Their balance is perfect.

Strange, the video doen't show any of the huge gapped doubles, and triples. Wonder why that is.

Wasn't he a jerk to the press and such sort of like a current foreign rider?

I think the MX press played JMB vs the US.

I'm one of those guys that will always hold JMB in high regard, even though I

believe his lore was greater than his reality.

He was - and is - an amazing rider (and driver) - most probably misunderstood

PR wise, although a genius at the sport of motocross.

Here's what he's up to lately -

He could make a bike dance like no other, hypnotically.
