However,I want to see him race some GP's.
I think it would be great for him and all the fans on both sides of the pond.
So how about it James?
Hell even Alessi raced right?
I'm sure if James wanted he could get a deal together, he's got the connection and anywhere he went he would be a huge star over there.
Won't JSE cover his costs?
For once buddy I am going to have to agree with you. The GPs are a whole different ball game. Tracks are different, living conditions are different and James's support staff wouldn't be as effective.
He would do well but wouldn't be as dominate as he is he in the states.

Lenny,
This isn't a slam on James. It's more about moving someone out of their element than it is anything else. I have known kids that have tried to run the GPs and it's like living in a total different world. My son has also raced over seas at a few of the off season indoor races and he had a hard time adjusting to everything from the food to the simple things like getting his suspension from one place to another.
Different world over there and some here don't have the respect they should for those overseas riders that choose to come to the US. James is the fastest man in the world here but complicate things and turn his world upside down and it would affect his performance.
That's exactly what i mean. No doubt James would be insanely fast no matter where he rides. But he knows the AMA tracks well, and his support is great.
Lots of people struggle when they go to Europe, I didn't mean for it to sound like a jab at James. It's just the way it is. Food, culture, travel, living conditions etc are much different.
Matter of fact James schooled everyone on 125cc back in '02 when others were on the 250f.........and he'd never raced any of those tracks.
He used to let guy's pass him on hilly old school GP tracks that he'd never ridder.....just so he could pass them back and shut their mouths because he heard them talking some junk in the pits.
The GP's are another walk through for James......just like the SX has been from day one.
He does the live rounds, x games and maybe a gp or three.
AKA: Press races.
If I were him i'd get a hold of yami & burkhart after vegas and get some supermoto time in before the x games. Throw that on top of the above mentioned races and he gets more press than going 24-0 last summer.
It would be great exposure for him and his team.
