...or starts mentioning an injury in interviews???

I'm just sayin'...

His only chance of winning this title is if James screws up (terrible start, while Reed holeshots...or DNF). I just don't see him with the speed to catch and pass him...

I really want Reed to win this title...but he's gonna have to be perfect and James is gonna have to screw up to make it happen.

Just think how quickly it would've been had it been either of us out there...

Must be amazing to ride at Reed's level. I can't even fathom it.

Yep.. and as far as him complaining, i think he just answers the questions and tells it like it really is when things are not going good. It happens in all other forms of motorsports. Riders/drivers talk about missing the set up or problems with lappers or tires or what ever.
I like to hear about whats happening with a little more detail than "i had a few issues but i will be back again next week". Why is that whining when Reed does it but if KW talks straight talk its OK? And BTW i do not come on here supporting Reed or KW or anyone in a fanatical way ever..I like good racing and i like to hear the little things that are going on inside these guys heads.

I suspect it will happen as soon as he gets chased down and passed.

At least he's riding consistent though so who knows. As long as he keeps getting seconds, that may be enough to win the title if James gets a DNF or another poor finish.

What if its Reed that gets a dnf while chasing that win?

From this mornings RacerX monday convo;

It’s just disappointing that I really haven’t ridden that great, and James is riding amazing, so we’ve just got to work on some little things with me. My start was better this week, in the main event, so that was good, but it’s just little things. There’s really nothing to freak out about. He’s riding really well, as he always does, so we’ve just got to keep working on more things and try to get there.

Yeah.....wow what a whiner, complaining about everything but himself....oh yeah. (end sarcasm)

I can tell you one thing he didn't do, which was use any kind of excuse after the race about his practice crash, which was pretty gnarly.

This is Reeds best season to date in terms of him taking accountability in interviews.

And that turndown whip over the triple when he made the pass on Alessi was SICK!

Suzuki makes all of their riders attend PR training coarses and with Reed it really paid off. They also done a good job with RC.

He is riding great and keeping a good attitude. He is ahead of Stewart on the all time SX wins list, can come from last to 2nd place at will, and with a great start or bad luck for stewart he will win. The season is far from over.

Chad needs to mix it up, if can make some changes to how he does things instead of allowing James to settle into a rhythm we could have some great racing.

Reed will probably (like the others) begin to get nicked up. So I don't think a slight mention of an injury will be "excuse making"

He mentioned bumps and bruises from the practice crash but tripling on to a haybale and then going over the bars...then claiming bumps and bruises is actually DOWNPLAYING things.

IMO

Jus' sayin.

He seemed to change in the interviews this year, haven't heard him cry about anything lately.

I'm sure he gets that win or lose........

He's only had good things to say about the bike anyways (PR???).

and good stuff to say about James which is a smart move (don't give JS any more motivation than he has already) .

actually ellie looks a bit chunkier these days when i saw her at a SX on OZ ......too much Seppo junk food?

I think you support Dungey in a fanatical matter.
