If that track complies with the rules, the rules need to be changed!
Saw a similar crash many years ago with a rider and a tree while racing beside another rider. You just can't have a trees next to a track. I often wonder even about the towers next to jump faces at MX races. Theory is most crashes occur in landing zone - but not all. Some one will have to die running into one before any one bothers changing it.....

Finish line structure after a high speed long ass whooped cupped straight. Good idea guys. Sheesh.

While I agree with your post this was not a MX race it was an off road race. There are lots of races through trees. I've done a few myself. I always went just a tad under my full speed cause I didn't want to do this.

Though it does seem pretty strange to have some obstacles like that at the start where they're packed together in a tree section....

The Boks and All-Blacks–you fuckers too–all play disciplined ball and punish you for mistakes with kickers we haven't had the last 8 years... and somehow our dim leaders think putting a hot head, rash, miracle worker (fuckup artist) who gives away penalties and turns over the ball like a cheap whore is the way to go.

To be fair I'd rather they didn't pick Quade in their squad either - especially for the World Cup. That guy is an absolute beast, didn't he compete (and succeed) in boxing a couple of years ago?? I haven't managed to following the Rugby Championship but I did see that you guys and the All Blacks are tied at the top of the table.

I wasn't all that concerned about the Aussies with the RWC coming around, until I heard about your form in the Championship - now I'm fearing you b@stards aghain when we face you in our Pool this year lol. Just beat make sure you beat England, ok?
