First time an Aussie-owned team (JDR/J-Star/KTM) qualifies an Aussie rider in each Class of an AMA Supercross Main Event - Ryan Marmont (Lites) and Tye Simmonds (Opens).

Regardless of the results in the Main Event, this is a good day for the JDR/J-Star/KTM team - however, a couple of top 10s would be nice.

Australia Day has come a little early in America.

Have to go through some records but probably has happened with Reed, Byrne and Reardon, dont thin Marmont or the Moss boys have ran an AMA 450 SX race.

If Reardon and Byrner were fit it would be possible to see 5 Australians in a Main Event 1/4 of the field, could happen in the next couple of weeks. Bet that has never happened before from rider from any other country apart from the US!
