Has Stewart ever....

Not a real big fan of Stewart….but just wondering if he has ever lost a supercross where he didn’t fall/crash? I know outdoors he has, but does anyone know how many times he has lost straight up in supercross?

I think he's only lost 1 supercross that he didn't fall/crash in.

The 2nd Canadian round in December of 2006. He was just coming off of that crash with Preston in Toronto and had an injured foot, I believe. RC ran him down and passed him.

Other than that, I can't recall a single time that someone just plain outrode him.

Yes, in the 125 class. The first race of '04 I believe. Maybe it was '03. He didn't get a good start and he took his time getting through the pack. Whoever was out front held the lead until the end.

For some reason I'm thinking that it was Ping.

It was Preston in '03. His only win as defending champion that year.

December 2006, Toronto. Stewart was placed on 6-months probation for endangering other riders on the track. Tedesco & Preston in one race.

What does that have to do with the initial question???

Doesn't matter, how many titles has he managed to win? Not many compared to the ones he threw away by being a lawn dart. Speed doesn't mean squat if you can't finish the race.

Stewart, Reed, RC, MC...in fact nobody that has ever won a single pro supercross has EVER beaten me in a race, straight up, down, sideways...crash, no crash.

I have NEVER lost a race to any of those guys. I'm undefeated in SX.

He lost one year to Reed in Orlando. Reed was on a 250 two stroke, he blitzed past him in the whoops. I think Reed won that race as well. It was JS 2nd or 3rd race back from injury that year when he missed 2 or 3 races if I remember correctly.

Very little, I'd say. However it has plenty to do with adding color detail to Spyguy's post.

Thanks,

James was leading Orlando that year, his first race back, and fell in the whoops.
