Going into oncoming lanes

I'm sure it has happened before, but I have never seen a rider go into the oncoming lanes until Canard made an error at Daytona and went into the oncoming lanes. Luckily it was early in the race and there were no riders coming.
Then Hahn almost went into the oncoming lanes at Indy. I just never realized how easy it was to go into the oncoming lanes. Has there ever been an injury/accident from an oncoming collision?

These guys are true professional riders, but anyone can make a mistake.

Yes, the year J-Law won the lites SX. A rider took out RD that crashed in an oncoming lane. I think RD was in the lead. People forget this small tidbit; they refer to it as "getting in his head".

are you talking about 06 Orlando SX?(I believe that was the year) rider went sideways over a triple and landed in the other lane where RD was going threw the whoops.

Not exactly crossing lanes into traffic, but RC was cradled by the angels that night. Saw a chick blow through the end of the fastest straight at a local track, blast through a big wooden fence, and launch an ambulance a good 2 1/2 feet from where it was originally sitting. Carmicheal would have made a serious noise and "launched" that boat.

Mindless re-entry to the track after a crash ranks right up there. (I couldnt find the JS video from a few years back).
