Know the brand well, and ridden in both. Dominator Comps with the bootie and TX without. Using Predators now. What do you want to know?

Just wanna know how well they hold up and if they compare with a tech10 or sg12. I had a pair of Jett boots and they broke in a couple different places now using my old sg10 until i buy a new pair. Forma's look pretty good

In my opinion, Alps quality has slipped as their volume went up, clearly on their Thailand-made models (Tech 7 and 3). The Tech 10 is solid but you can measure some irregularities from pair to pair or side to side, excess glue, etc. The Tech 8 has the best build quality IMO, but it is a $450 boot without a hinge.

Formas are excellent, maybe a small step below Sidi and Gaerne but very close. They are not a new company, just new to the US. Lots of experience building for others, 661, BMW, others.

The Dominator is well made but the design is several years old. The Predator is really, really good. Fit is great and the dual pivot ankle has the smoothest action of anything I have tried. Personally, comparing to an SG-12, they are so close I cannot pick one over the other. The SG-12 is lighter and slimmer (externally), the Forma has better action and a more compact ankle area (internally). AFA negs, they are a little on the heavy side, and the buckle feel is average. But they're quite good, you'll be hearing a lot more about them.
