Somehow J. Sloan's thread was deleted? Don't worry, I saved it just in case. Happy to help a brother out.

If anyone is worried about CC handling the pressure and staying upright remember we put TRAVIS PASTRANA on the team once

National Champion Travis Pastrana? Possibly the fastest 125 rider in the world at the time? What a terrible idea.

I’m of the opinion that if my threads are to be moved anywhere, they should be moved to the HOF.

Craig is going to be the right man for the job alongside Eli and Sexton.

The Dutch are coming with a power house and the Aussies are licking their chops....

This year is gonna be good and all I ask is that it doesn't rain.

CC in my opinion is the best choice.
He has well and truly earned the spot this year.
250sx champion
In 450 outdoors has finished 9/18 motos in the top 5 of the 450 class & 4 moto podium finishes.
He gets good starts, he obviously would be on a Star 250f, to me it’s a no brainer.
I think J coop is just as capable, it’s splitting hairs between the 2 of them but going off CC’s season you would say that has earned him the starting position in mx2.

He’s rides a 450 way better then a 250. He even said he dosent like to ring it out like these kids do….well if you get picked you better start learning because the 250 ride is prob more important then the two 450 guys. I see Craig going 6-9 and that won’t be good enough .

He rode half the year with a cast on. Travis was amazing. But when the team was selected it was shit on because he was a wildcard (and not yet in the points lead FYI) and Ryno had been hurt/terrible in the GPs

My point is, Craig is far from the loose cannon that Travis was, and Travis worked out awesome in 2000.

Imma gonna go with Bubba..... if we actually want to win MXDN... we gotta send guys that are not just fast, but winning level fast outdoors... not Dumb dumb and craig racing for "9th and 10th".... but someone like J Cooper who beat the guys that we will have to beat to get that MXDN title (Jett and Hunter)..... I really like Craig, and dude has insane speed.... but Cooper is nearly healed and showed last weekend that he has the raw speed to put us on the top step of the podium at Des Nations..

6-9 would be great imo. I’d expect him to be 10-15

Yeah, if you factor in a 6 with Sexton and Tomac's finishes, you are on the top step...

I think Christian would be lucky to break into the top 10 at mxon. Hope I am wrong cause it's looking like they will pick him.

Cooper is a holeshot artist, Craig not so much. Cooper historically rides his best when he holeshots. If he rips one great start at MXdN he will likely podium the moto. I just don't picture Craig starting well and he isn't going to "ride forward" very far against half a field of 450's.

CC's avg start this year is 8.5 with 0 holeshots
Cooper's avg start is 7.1 with 4 holeshots So Cooper has been less consistent in his starts than CC

Yes, CC has been more consistent on being a worse starter than Justin Cooper.
