Can someone get me a link of the points standing for the nationals. I got on Alli Site and messed with it for 10 minutes and still couldn't get the points standing to come up. Everyone talks about how the championship is the most important thing. I can find results for every round but not the points standing. Sad.

Not when it doesn't work. Maybe I should have known to go to mxsports page but it is kind of sad that I google, 2012 ama national motocross series points and don't find a page that works, and mxsports did not come up in that search.

i googled "2012 ama national motocross series points" and found the series standings with ease on the first three sites that came up, maybe it's just you?

Best way is to go to the latest Monday Wake-Up Call from RacerX. Updates with results and points to everything!

Allisports is where it's at, they provide live qualifying, live stream 1st motos, full moto1/2 250/450 videos 3 days after the race, and results current and past years. Take google and stick it in the shitter. Spend a little time to understand the format of Allisports, great website. If your not one to figure it out just follow Southwest's directions, yea, it does work.

What is the reason the most visited website in the world of US pro motocross (Vitalmx.com) does not have a results/ series standings page? It has been brought up before without answer. Must be politics or money involved. If that is a case what would be wrong with a link to that information on a different website? Also would be nice to have a link for riders numbers. Anyone know?

RacerX, Pulpmx, MXA, TWMX, Vitalmx, Alli, does not have series point standings. The OP is 100% correct. All I asked is why is this information so guarded except in weekend results articles on RacerX? Screw it. I will give up caring about the series points standings. And the media wonders why fans only care who wins the races unlike other motorsports? #darkages

I also think it would be helpful if the main websites had a point standings tab on their sites.

The youthstream site (www.motocrossmx1.com) has a pretty good format for displaying the GP results. You can look at all the results for all the classes and GP's right back to 2004, when they took over promotion of the series. They are usually up virtually as they happen too.

Nascar championship points standings
bcs standings
soccer champoinship standings
badminton championship standings
All these searches give the answer to the question on the face of the home page of each page that comes up. Not some stupid link to a pdf file link that comes up sometimes. Big difference.

Yea, 4 clicks away on a page that does not always come up because it is some flash or pdf format. My point exactly. Google some of the topics I gave above. You will have the results on the front page or even on google before you even click on the page and follow 2 more links.

Supercrossonline.com has the the Lucas Oil Motocross Championship current points listed right on the main or home page.






Or you can go to mxsports.com homepage and roll your mouse over "RESULTS" at the top of the page and click "SERIES POINTS" just that simple.

They just invented this thing called "Bookmarking", you can actually save the sites that you want to look at frequently.

Open a new window and pretend it is on the same site. If you can get them to add a tab for results, have them add a tab that when selected a foot comes out of the screen and kicks you right in the ass.
