it happened like 3 years ago, jeff Alessi landed on him at a local race. He has rode his just about his whole pro career w/ it, but the screw was coming lose , thats why he always wore a wrist brace. When he injured his collar bone, he decided to get the wrist fixed.

The last article I read about it (can' remember which mag) he said he didn't have it fused but if it didn't work this time that having them fused would be his only option.

That's what happened to me.After 5 wrist surgeries on my right wrist as a last resort they took a chunk of bone out of my hip,put it in my wrist and fused it.I wore the same brace for a while but now ride without it.But my wrist is locked almost solid.Makes riding difficult, but the Docs said,I'd never ride or do stunts again.Yeah, right! Anyway,I hope no one ever has to get a fusion but at least now I'm 90% pain free in my wrist.

Guy, it's not even 4 o'clock.... what the hell are you doing back at the shop.... get back out to Perris for some more pix's. Evening one's with the sun going down with a nice schrubbery and a path running through the middle, not too expensive though.

About 4 years ago, I was at a race at Lake Elsinore MX Park.

Mike hole shot, Jeff in tow with RV around 5th, as RV was working his way up he caught Jeff who was in second, and clearly Jeff was a little slower and did not want to let RV pass him. End result RV on ground with broken bone.

I felt it was just racing. RV's crew was pissed to say the least.

Most of the people around me felt Jeff was playing blocker for the star running back. Team tactics?

I like RV and the Alessi's.

Looking at those photos, it sure makes me wonder if Payton will ever run a 450 team full time alongside that stable of Lites bikes.
