Didn’t seem bad when I was over there this morn, but I ventured out to Thunder Valley and the winds were intense, hard to even walk. There were a few hardcore Moto men spinning laps tho….Red Rocks last night was crazy…. Anybody got an extra SX ticket ? PitPass ?

Nope. Like I said earlier, I’ve admired THE MAN for close to 50 years. But I stand by my stance on there being new blood needed to run America’s MXDN program. Top to bottom sweep….

High winds are no joke. Out at Hangtown in 2000 I was on my KX80 with winds around 30+ mph and gusts over 50mph. There was a big downhill double and while in mid-air I got slammed with a gust that blew me clear off the track, bike totally sideways and a major crash. Knocked me out cold, major concussion and don't remember anything from that entire day.

It was fairly windy at my house, just a few minutes north west of thunder valley. I can imagine it might have gotten weird on some of the bigger jumps. It was really nice for the first half of the day though. Fingers crossed for tomorrow!

The wind fired up about 1pm, was blowing around 30-40 by Thunder Valley at that point, has been howling all afternoon.
