James has had a better start than chad every race. It'll be interesting to see if Reed can beat him if stewart gets a tenth place start.

if reed gets a good start there is no doubt that he will beat Stewart. he is looking really good this year.

Please don't try to ask a logical question to him...you'll be severally disappointed with the answer...

Fabulous display of the gritty Aussie spirit in Houston by Metty and Reed. Brett is much stronger on the Honda han he ever looked on the PC Kawi..wow! Depsite Chad's tough start luck he has increased his points lead over 2nd place in the series.

Hey, we're all quiet because we've been out celebrating our national day!

Anyone know what the SF track is like? Hope its not another minibike sub 50sec bullshit track.

you said it motodude, aussie day weekend down here.. nearly all would have been out and about lapping up the sunshine and beaches.

big prop's to Metty's ride, looks strong, and hopefully can take the top box this year. Will be a great battle with CP, and with Stroupe, Izzi and Lemoine in the mix its going to be just as exciting as the west coast. IMO, Metty will become the new Byrner once he steps up to the big class - consistant, and out of the spotlight.

Reed's still going well, still sits comfy in the standings which is the main thing. A win is not far away, just needs to put the whole package together, and so far the only thing thats lacking is a clean first few corners at the front of the pack. But not taking it away from James, he's really started to find his groove. Although i can't help but think James is pushing the safety envelope more than he normally would, hopefully he keeps it on 2 wheels cos there is bound to be some sick straight up battles coming up.

Yeah, Reed increased his points lead over 2nd place...but lost three points to the only guy on the track he needs to be worried about. And that ain't much to celebrate.

I hope Reed can pull something out of the bag here pretty quick, like a start, otherwise this series is gonna be like every other year James has raced SX...everyone (Including RC) is waiting for James to make a mistake so they can get a win. Sad but true.

Reed ain't gonna win this title with a mid-pack start...unless, as I said, JS crashes.

Have Reed and JS started at the same time?

Okay then...straight up.

As soon as the AMA makes Reed start 10 seconds, 5 seconds, whatever after the gate drops then you can make the "Wasnt straight up" arguement.

Tell that to the assclowns on these motoboards over the past 5 years who've said Reed hasnt won straight up against RC and Bubba.

Suddenly 'straight up' isnt cool for those coksmokers now.

I'll tell them...who exactly are they?

If they leave the gate at the same time, it's straight up...crashing, mechanicals, bad starts, are all apart of straight up racing.

People who bring up the "wasn't straight up" arguement are, at best, morons.

Now, now. No need to get your tail-feathers all ruffled up. I simply made an observation. You used the term and you were calling people those nasty names for saying the same thing. Your no different than them for using it, right? Right! Now go play with the rest of the children. Oh, and have a nice day!
