Muddying the "journalistic" waters?
He sure sounds like he is trying to pawn off these quotes as some new interviews, doesn't he?

Ya I can't wait to hear his [b:1aonksfi]unbiased[/b:1aonksfi] opinion.
Grand Prix promoters Youthstream are keeping its cards firmly against its chest...
They are saying that interview was done months ago and is being re-run?
I thought it was funny that Brooks said "If the outdoor series ran like the MXdN event that I was at, I would show more interest in coming back to the outdoor series" as if it was his decision. His team isn't at the outdoors because Reed doesn't want to ride outdoors and their sponsors don't care about outdoors. If Youthstream starts running the outdoors, Brooks may show up and find out nobody else did. Wouldn't that be ironic?

When you don't have any cards, that's the best strategy...

The interviews with DeCoster and Brooks were done months ago, yet attempted to be passed off as current......

"Your life will never be the same." Way to tell it like it is & respectfully raise some very pertinent questions. Thanks.
it's Reed's damn team, Brooks is just his "manager"
You think LB told MC where to line up at?
Yep, I'd bet it does. And those races are the ones that he said he'd do more than the ones that L&M demanded he'd do....
Just a hunch.

Carlsbad, California – August 11, 2006 - When the Supercross series kicks off next January at Anaheim Stadium there will be a new race team on the track; L&M Racing. Brooks, who has worked with many great riders over his eleven years as a team manager, has amassed three AMA Supercross championships, all on Yamaha, hopes to have the same type of success in this new partnership at L&M Racing. “I am very excited for the opportunity to work together again with Yamaha," explains Larry Brooks. "Knowing Yamaha’s dedication to winning and L&M Racing’s motivations and goals, we are confident we have what it takes to win at this level.”
Riding for L&M Racing are two of the fastest and most visible riders on the racing circuit; Chad Reed and Nathan Ramsey. Chad Reed already has many championships to his name including the 2004 AMA Supercross Championship. Chad is hoping to repeat the success of 2004 and clinch the World and AMA Supercross Championship in 2007. Joining Chad in his quest of a 2007 Championship is his good friend and next door neighbor, Nathan Ramsey. Nathan and Chad have been friends, riding and training partners since Chad arrived on US soil in 2002 and are definitely a receipt for success. Look for L&M Racing to be on the podium in 2007!

Yep, they are the "owners" of the team, but do you believe that the team would be there without Reed specifically? I don't.....
And if he were to leave L&M, I'd bet they'd fold up shop quicker than you can say Team BooKoo.......

Whether L&M will or will not be there after CR leaves was not an issue

It's an issue in who decides what races are run........
I'd definitely have to believe that this is a case where the employee makes the decision much more than the owner, wouldn't you?
