Not gonna happen. He needs to go after the supercross championship again next year. With another year of experience on that Honda he'll be really hard to stop.

His wife and son Tate? Do they want to move to europe? Maybe Chad wants to win world title, though.

Doubt it. I will be VERY surprised to see him come over here and live on the road again like he did when he was 18, or however old he was. He has a very comfortable life where he is and good on him, he's earnt it.

Rumors are likes whores...it's all good and fun until you get caught. Then the game's over and everyone knows the truth.

Doubt he will take it. He wants to race US for 2012 for a title than retire and run his team.

What about this scenario...

If Reed wins the AMA National title this year, and if scheduling allows, he could do SX in the first part of the year and race GP's after that.

Winning a world title would put Reed in rare company indeed - 450 AMA SX, 450 AMA MX, and FIM MX titles.

Of course it's all speculation, but good bench racing fodder.

Reedy has to race the '12 SX series first - he's on the 4 year program ( a SX championship every 4 years ), so after he mops the floor with # 7 and the rest, he can head over there and win!

Just my thoughts. Wink

LOL! I wish he went for it but as has being mentioned the GPs seems so much more demanding in many aspects and I doubt that anyone could find the "right" amount of money. I hope we are wrong though.

Dont forget his 125 East title.

Would it surprise you if he were not on the red machine next year?

Maybe if TeamTwoTwo secure Dungey for the 2012 season, Reed will leave Dungey heading the team over in the US, whilst he goes and plays around at the GP's for a year, whilst still having full control over his team. It certainly wouldn't lose any credibility with just Dungey.

As far as doing the Supercross series and the GP's, the two schedules clash on more than one occasion next year, one of the major problems that will probably hold Reed back from really considering the move is his family, I doubt he will want to relocate his son across Europe.
