If I remember correctly, this is the second time this season Musquin has been "passed" late in the race by Dungey. That's a total of 6 pts. So Eli would be down 3 instead of 9 pts if not for those two passes. Wowzers. You gotta have respect for Dungey being so consistent, but I wonder how many Championships Dungey would have if RV, Tomac, and Roczen hadn't gotten injured over the years...

No doubt Roczen would of won in 2016 if Dungey wasn't there

You guys make make some valid points. So let's forget about the injuries. Ryan stayed healthy and didn't crash and he deserves respect for that. Let's focus on the 2 times Marvin let Ryan by late in races for a total of 6 pts. That will most likely be part of the deciding factor in this championship.
