Rd. 1 Newcastle

Format: Double Header
Class: Open and Lites
Open riders will compete in 2 x 8 lap heats and Lites in 2 x 8 lap heats. Positions 1 to 9 will progress direct to the final.
The final will consist of 2 x 12 lap races in the Open class and 2 x 10 lap races in Lites, with points awarded for each race and accumulated to find a winner.

Practice should start around 9pm PT or 12am ET

I think its a one on one, 1 lap dash between the top qualifiers for gate pick for the final. Separate to the main event.

V8 Supercars do a similar thing, and as the organisers hope to draw a crowd from a similar demographic they will understand what is going on.

SX OPEN class practice should start at 9:18 pm Cali time.
The live TV coverage should start just before 1am Cali time, I think.

HOLY CRAP!!......so we WILL get to see these races live online?? Friggin' SWEET!

I haven't watched or heard anything as of yet.....but I'm thinking Reed was looking to get on a bike that he's extremely comfortable with. If it was for less money or more money.....I don't know........BUT , I'll guarantee he is going to be on a mission down there! I'll also bet he is going to be on a mission here in the states as well come January!

I "also" think that if JS and Reed both show up to A1 with their game face on......Everyone else will be fighting for 3rd - 20th. I'm a huge fan of RD , RV and CP......I just think Reed and Stewart are going to come out swinging big time!
