I'm going to look at a used 2006 RM 250 in a few hours, never had an RM before, anything specific I should look for/ask about?

Did this year have clutch issues like the early 2000ish models?

How about any bearings going out? i.e. Steering stem, linkage etc.

I have a '05, same as that '06. No issues at all - just more fun than should be legal.

You wont regret that bike, its a keeper.

Making me sad! I just sold mine yesterday. Very low hrs, all stock except the handlebars and threw in 2 never mounted rear tires. I got $2100 out of it. I needed some quick cash.

Usually with the newer RM 250's (I have an 05) the clutch will need stiffer springs. Other then that, they are fucking amazing.

Looks like a great bike, and the price is right. Just check all the bearings, overall condition of bike, etc.

I have a 2005 and I LOVE it. SO SO SO SO much fun to ride, and so easy to ride also. Really fantastic motorcycles. Enjoy!!!!

Best performing dirt bike I have ever owned ...get it

@flanard do they really need stiffer clutch springs? Never heard of that but with mine when I'm wfo it does feel like the clutch is slipping ...... Mine is bone stock except for a fatty pipe and stiffer springs been trying to figure out why the top end feels like its making power but not pulling ill try stiffer clutch springs.

Mine sure needed stiffer springs. I have also read the same thing in MXA, so it must not just be my bike. Really made a difference.
