Last week I mentioned how Team USA have often had trouble recapturing the Motocross of Nations once they lose it. They have still dominated the last 32 years of the event, winning 22 times and only losing it 10 times, but when they lose it, it usually takes them a couple of years to regain it.
This brings me to the similarities from that epic 1994 event when Team Great Britain, total underdogs won the event (thanks to an epic 125/MX2 rider by Paul Malin), then it was followed up with victory by the very strong Team Belgium in 1995.
Check out all the similarities here.
