When I first got the jug back and installed the top end it ran great and didn't seem to get hot at all really. It ripped but sputtered a bit on the top and when I took the powervalve cover off the left side pin had broken off . It didn't seem hot until I installed the new valves...

Quick rundown on what has led up to this point .. The bike is a 2000 yz125 I've had it for roughly 2 years and so far it has been temperamental to say the least . So I had a wiesco 55mm piston kit laying around and out of curiosity I had my jug bored out slightly to accommodate it...

Ha! I guessed right! Laughing Anyway, yeah, they are kind of notorious for doing that. Mine did the same thing. (Well, actually my nephew's bike that I am currently refreshing for him like a good uncle.) What I did was take the pins to the local Ace hardware and matched them up with some roll pins. Found a size that was just a hair tight and could be pressed in with a vice. Presto, cheap-o, fix-o.

Well, one thing you can check super easy is the power valves. Pop that cover off. Those pins that are in the valves are notorious for falling out rendering the power valves no-worky. At least take a look. If not that, follow Paw Paw's advice.

If the bike flooded with fuel from the float setting being too high, then your crank cavity is full of non burnt fuel. It will have to be cleaned out before it will run correctly. You said a few weeks.... How long exactly? Your fuel could have separated and is now bad. Paw Paw
