triplex Added a reply to KYB “kit” suspension on a ktm
5/20/2021 2:40pm I'll get with him and find out what he wants for them. I'm not 100% sure he wants to sell them. He likes to collect parts. I'll post a price as soon as I hear back from him.

triplex Added a reply to KYB “kit” suspension on a ktm
5/20/2021 1:24pm If anyone is interested I have a customer that has a brand new set of KYB Kit forks and Xtrig clamps that he never installed. They are sitting on a shelf at his house and may be interested in selling them. They were bought for 2021 KTM 450 but will fit Husky and Gas Gas as well. Set up for...

triplex Added a reply to KTM Husky Gas Gas KYB kit Suspension for sale
3/13/2020 7:12am These forks cannot be used on a KTM/Husky/Gas Gas without clamps. Also the forks you are referring to may be the air forks not the spring forks, so that would make them cheaper or they may be older model forks, I am not certain exactly which model they are offering you. If you contact Technical touch USA you can get...

3/13/2020 5:49am It sounds like they took him for a ride. He bought the shock when he purchased a couple new 2020 KTM 450's because they had the shock in stock. he is going to contact the shop he bought the shock from directly and see what the deal is. We ordered the KYB kits for him as we have been dealing...

3/12/2020 10:50pm .This is being sold for a customer, not ours so I would have to find out specifics on the shock. I do know he paid much more than $1150 for the shock so either he was taken advantage of or something is different with this shock than a standard shock. I'll get some info from him in the next couple...

12/29/2018 5:28pm Had a 15 that ran very similar to this except, no engine noise. Ended up being a bad coil, even though the coiled ohmed out as it should. Check fuel pressure as well.

4/26/2018 11:34am Send the Cylinder and Head to Eric Gorr. I had my 97 done by him. Several top 100 riders at the time rode it and said it would walk away from their fully modded race bikes.
triplex Added a reply to Engine rebuild
3/28/2018 9:07am I love when an engine gets carried into the shop in a box by someone who said it's not that hard.lol If you don't feel comfortable doing the job, don't do it. You'll be paying a shop for the second go round. 30% of our business is from customers trying to do it in their garage, using junk chinese parts...
triplex Added a reply to Transmission guru's please explain this ?????
5/29/2016 3:14pm Every transmission I've ever seen with the shift forks swapped locks up. If it shifts on the bench with the shift forks swapped, I would suggest a few things. Possibly the wrong shift fork(s)/gear(s) or a gear is put on the shaft incorrectly. Just because it's locking in first gear, don't assume it is only first gear that is the...

5/29/2016 11:24am It sounds like you have a gear installed backwards. Most likely the first gear against either the right or left cases on the countershaft.
triplex Added a reply to Trying to save weight on your bike?
8/14/2013 8:44pm This CRF 450 was a 2007 Model and although Honda claimed the dry weight was 213, the actual weight with no fuel was 231lbs stock out of the crate. The bike ended up at 207lbs with no fuel. The powdercoating on the frame and hubs added about .75lbs. There were only 3 bolts on the entire bike that were not Ti...
