thats a very sharp looking bike never rode one of the new 4 strokes, been a 2 stroker all my like, minus some of the old XR's in the early 90's, kinda like the sounds they make, as to the 4 strokes! been hoping to ride one now I am back into riding again,(, My Dr's not happy about this...

Just an update had bike at shop, to go over the issue's at hand, and had a flywheel weight installed(huge difference, I love it) but the sprocket they replaced is just a bunch thicker than the old, and it caused the case saver to rub added a few washers, now Ok, as for the over heating, doesn't any more, guess...

how about a few pic's of your home made one I have one I bought at cabela's it looked good, but once I got it together, I found out its weakness's first, the rear tire wouldn't fit in the channel, had to buy some steel stock, and modify the channel then , its 2 inch tube is smaller than 2...

thanks, thats the feeling I am getting as well may be a dumb question, but it doesn't really matter what sub frame is on the bike, as long as all parts line up I have very little experience with swaping parts off bikes thanks

I am just filling to the point where I just cover the top of the fins inside, about an inch from the top of the raditor fill hole top. if i run the bike with the cap off it just about 1/4 from coming out as it bounces inside. I have been filling like this for awhile and never had...

Ok , I also have on hole on the other side I was thinking maybe the numberplate then on that side, if I have the wrong sub frame then I don't see this as an issue or could it be having the wrong sub frame?/

I have sen other 2000 yz 250's liek mine and none of them have the same sub frame mounts I have I don't know the history on the bike, so don't know if the sub frame was switched or not Like I said they don't seem to be any issue, just wondered why there there and not on other 200...

that could very well be the case that spacer would only come off if the sprocket was off right reason i ask is i had the case saver off trying to get that nut off to change the sprocket myself , just couldn't get it loose and I didn't see any spacer, the case saver just came off in one...

thanjs ut my case saver is made of aluminum metal, and it was grinding up against my srpoket nut it was so pressed against it that the aluminum metal on my case saver had about an 1/8 of an inch ground off by the bolt, and still was touching I removed the case saver, and then add 2 washers behind...
