4/20/2022 10:38am Hi all, My trusty old Tech 7's are starting to look a little worse for wear and I'm thinking about replacing them. The Tech 7's are not particularly heavy, but I was wondering if anyone has compared the weight of different mid-high end boots? Unfortunately my local MX store has now closed so I can't go compare them myself

The OEM WP are really inexpensive and gave me more reliable results over RT. To know if you have the correct spring, set the race sag to 105mm then measure spring length. 253mm is the sweet spot for the 260mm springs. If you need 9 or 10+mm preload, then the spring is too soft. On rate, round up!

My weight and speed put me with a 4.4 spring on a 125/150. Race Tech’s web site has a good spring calculator that will help you.

9/22/2021 6:12am Hi AJ, could you tell me what spring rate you're running? I'm around 180lbs B level rider (C level by the 3rd moto lol) and have been running the stock spring/air pressure on my 150 sx and I'm getting really bad arm pump (presumably because of the suspension setup). I've purchased a 42Nm spring and am thinking of running around...
