I'm a noob here. But just for the fun of it....I had to dig out my shit-stirrin stick. I was out of the scene due to injury (yes it was life-threatening....just sayin....)from '02 til 2012. Couldn't ride, so I didn't want to even watch. Missed a lot. These kids these days are damned impressive. But leaving sheer speed out of...

Lol. Okay. I agree. But you should have seen everyone's face when three little girls went up to the KTM rig, ignored everyone else and asked if Mr. Decoster was there. He came out of the truck with a gleam in his eye and spent all the time they wanted with him. I was a proud papa.

Exactly. When a rider screams around a Supercross track and his suspension never seems to move, he doesn't seem to be trying, and he can effortlessly put the bike anywhere he wants at any time....that's what I mean by smooth. Nothing against any of the riders who go 1000x faster than me or even faster than Jeremy. But watching him...

Okay....I can see Bayle....still think McGrath was smoother. But Stewart? BWAHAHAHAHAHA. Sorry. My favorite SX/MX quote this year was.."AND STEWART GOES DOWN!!!" I even called the corner at Thunder Valley this year before practice even started. Fast yes, but smoooooth?

I have shelled out a massive $200 for all four of these bikes. They all run and are nearly all complete. I would greatly appreciate any insight about restoration resources, techniques, etc. Maybe I should do this in a separate thread? 1968 Kawi 1971 Zook 1974 Yamaha 1982 XR500

Hey all. Thought I would join the conversation. I read the rules. I ran one of these forums for four years, so don't expect any trouble from me. I'm just here to hang, share info and stories, and maybe meet someone new to ride with. I currently have 23 bikes at the house/shop. Not all mine, as my buddies tend...

We trail ride, dune ride, mx.....anything we can find around here. Not much in the way of sx or arenacross, but at 45 my reaction times are slowing anyway. LOL Pics of the old rides? Stand by.....rolling them out as we speak......

Thankx. Might be a noob to this site, but I'm no noob to riding. Raced an Arenacross or two in and around Atlanta in the 90's. Was stationed at Benning for four years so I hit a track/trail/dune or two in your area. My favorite was a place called Hogansville. Ever rode it?

It's been a while since I posted in an online forum so I'm re-learning how to post photos and videos. Is it preferred to use a hosting site like photobucket or is it cool to just upload directly? Here's a pic of a few bikes in my shop that is SUPPOSED to be my woodshop. I will refrain from filling...

I don't. We had supercross parties all winter, but when it came to be riding weather (we have to winter off here in Wyoming) the "watching" of dirt bikes took a back seat. Besides, whatever channel it's on we apparently don't get. We did all road trip to Thunder Valley to see the pros though. Highlight for the kids.
