Sounds more like RB was unhappy with some unaffiliated company making decals out of their logo without their permission. If you don't protect your brand from copyright infringement you can lose those protections.

It's bad because if other advertisers think this will happen to them, they'll just pull out. They pay lots of money in hopes of seeing their brand name flash, even if for a fleeting moment, across our TV screens. If the series sponsor monopolizes the TV time, then why bother wasting your ad dollars?

Not to point out the obvious, but I PAY for my cable TV. ProRide is free and its Phil's to do whatever he wants with.
