Need some help im looking to see if I can swap a front end of a kx250f 2013 onto my kx 250 1991 would anyone have some info on this conversation if its possible and the shock ??

The possibilities are endless. I have yz forks on my kx, Yz forks for my xr, and klx forks for my z50.

So yesterday I just went for it and pulled the whole front end off a kx250f 2013 (forks,clamps,wheel,brake system) and got the stem pressed out and found out the kx stem is a hair line smaller then the kxf stem to the point you could push the kx stem in the kxf clamps with out a press so then I...

Forks should be easy. I put 2007 SSS forks on my 96 kx125. You usually just have to swap the steering stem into the clamps. Easiest to do the whole front end because you know it all lines up.

Shock almost certainly not, forks are probably doable with correct bearings and stem. Would need front wheel as well most likely. All balls racing has a good conversion calculator on there site that will give you an idea how hard/easy it is

Yeah okay well its so confusing as some say there only based on a kit spec and coating them doesn't do to much and then I've read actual a kit forks are way better, then I've heard what you have said in a sense there just as good 😅
