4/29/2024 6:07am thank you. thats what I was thinking too. however. after it stalls and try to kick start, the compression is still there. Isn't it that if the valve clearance is too small there will little or less resistance when you kick it?

4/28/2024 6:26pm Good day fellow riders. We are currently experiencing bike trouble. Bike starts 1 kick in cold start. When bike gets hot for about 4 laps, the bike stalls and dies even when given gas. And it's very hard to start again, when it does it often stalls and dies again. Need advice and thank you in advance. Godspeed to all...

10/23/2023 3:21am wassup, brother! Our bike now runs good. 2 kicks even when hot as long as you get the proper timing. We think what really helped was the new pulser, ultrasonic cleaning of injector, and changed new fuel pump+filter. Much appreciation to all the replies. Stay safe out there in the tracks and trails brothers!

10/11/2023 3:59am alrighty then, brothers. thank you so much for all your replies. effing head ache gone. problem with spark : i bought a new stator/pulser package. installed it to no avail; tried using same stock stator with the new pulser(only) - works like a charm. gas problem: we removed the fuel filter just for a test, it runs good, so I...

10/2/2023 6:51pm I will check when I go back to shop later today. IDK if it matters or not but could 90 PSI be too high for the fuel pump? It should be around 45-50 at most.right? I do not know what this would affect but can it cause the CDI/ecu to trigger a non running condition?

10/2/2023 12:28am hello brothers. again much appreciation for your replies. we tested the fuel pump with a gauge and hooked it to a 12v battery this is what it shows in the gauge. the injector is working fine as well after we had it ultrasonic cleaning. TB also fully cleaned. now, either with the choke on or not it runs with 2...

10/2/2023 12:10am Because you say it runs for 30-40 seconds then dies and is hard to start again, if you let the bike sit for 5 minutes or so is it easy to start again? If so my guess would be a fuel delivery issue possibly related to a dirty fuel filter, pinched fuel line or injector/fuel pump issue. Did you let the bike sit for any long period of time?

10/1/2023 11:59pm I have worked on all types of small engines for most of my life I would bet that your problem is from restricted fuel delivery. The reason it will only run with the choke on is because it's allowing it to run rich until it runs out of fuel. The fact that when you turn the throttle it studders and backfires is a indication it's starving of fuel (running lean). Since it does restart after stalling I would suspect the fuel pump is working but I would not rule it out completely starting out with a complete inspection and cleaning...

9/29/2023 9:19am Really long shot, but make sure you muffler packing isn’t blocking the exhaust. Rev engine and you should feel quite a bit of exhaust blowing out.

9/29/2023 9:18am Also sounds like the cam timing could be set wrong. ie-not aligned with the timing marks so the timing is wrong. The popping is a sign of this.

9/29/2023 9:18am This is what it will be. Have seen it on multiple Rmz 250s. Actually saw one where the choke broke and had been glued back together. So it basically adjusted the idle and never ran right. turn the know anti-clockwise and it will increase the idle from memory. I could be wrong. Just wind it all one way then back. Should find the sweet spot.

9/28/2023 6:53pm Just throwing this out there, but the idle hasn't been turned right down has it? It would make sence as to why it only runs with the choke on.
