05 to 08 are all the same bike apart from half of the crank shaft on the engine. The 06-08 has a lock pin and nut on the bottom of the shock unlike the 05 which it a nut and bolt. The 08 is the same bike as 06-07 apart from the front forks dont have the groove to fit...

Digger Needle on the 89 125 is currently a JR2070. With the needles you've recommended should i still run the No7 slides ?

89 125 - 55 pilot 160 main, No7 slide, without looking i cant remember what needle but on 2nd groove down from top 06 kx144 - 50 pilot 180 main No7 slide NOZI needle middle clip. Both carbs a screw on tops

Sorry for jumping in slightly off subject, but digger would you be able to help with this. Kx144 (athena kit) - vforce, pc pipe 2 stage igntion. Removed the makuni carb and fitted a pwk38. Revs clear on the stand, sharp off the bottom. As soon as you pull away it just dies roll the throttle off and comes back...
