Just an older guy that misses (like crazy) the good ole days of racin' and ridin' them old dirt bikes. Last bike I had was a 84 IT490 that put me in the hospital on Veteran's day 1987, and I haven't had a bike since.That doesn't mean I don't miss them, I can't wait to get another old bike, like an early 80s RM250. My list of bikes owned from first: 1974 Suzuki TS125,76 RM125,79 RM125,80 RM400,75 Honda MR250,1980 Husky OR390,82 Husky XC430, 84 Yammie IT490. I recently bought 2 bikes just to fix up and resell-96 KX250 and 98 KX250, I installed a set of UD forks from a newer KX125 on the 98 KX, bolted right on-cool. My only street bike was a 350 Kawie 2 stroke triple-yikes! The 96 KX was listed for sale as a 03, my mistake for not chekkin VIN and keepin abreast of dirt bikes. I found out when I ordered parts-CHECK THOSE VINs! I had a friend let me ride his vintage (?) 77 RM125 back in 04 at the New Vienna OH track, what a blast from the past!!!
