Hi Lee, Really appreciate the reply and insight! I am actually located in the Netherlands so not that far. I fully agree with you about the exhaust brands. It is just a matter of preference. I also heard good things about the HGS . I understood from talking to someone in the know that it is a good idea to get the pipe first so they can program the ignition accordingly. Otherwise you would have to get it re-programmed. I also have family in the US, and I have someone inbound this month so it is an opportunity to have...

Hi 107, I am thinking hard about getting a Vortex ignition for my 2020 YZ250f, so I was hoping you could give me some insight. Is it worth the $900 (700+200 for programming) l have done quite a bit of research but it would be nice to hear from someone that owns the same bike and has a Vortex. Is a free flowing exhaust like the FMF a must to make the Vortex worth it? Thanks, Nik
