Hello I'm totally fed up with kawis front brake spongyness, after steel braided line, different levers, vacuum bleeds, reverse bleeding, zip ties, 2 MC rebuilds / 1 caliper rebuild and a MC/caliper swap from another KX yet still need to 4 finger pull the lever to the bars to stop "which got me in a bad crash" I give up and...

neverstop Started a new thread 2012 KX250F Front Brake Mushy and barely works

Hello I took my forks off to get them revalved, friend pulls brake when I'm about to put forks back on with no tire on so its locked shut. I pry them open and get tire back on, two rides later my front brake is mushy "have to four finger pull the brake lever to stop, even then it's scary/dangerous"...

100% no air in lines because mechanic used a vacuum bleeder. And I personally did bleeding with a pump, everything from banjo bolts loosening, reverse bleeding etc. Weirdest problem I've had with brakes, it won't build pressure no matter what, I'll rebuild master cylinder and see.

The 2016 450 sxf shed 10.7 pounds from 2015 Smile Shit it seems like the same weight as a 250f now. 224 lbs dry weight, with electric start... lol

This bugged me.. "Up top, the engine falls flat and stops producing usable power a bit sooner than last year’s KX450F did. It is worth noting that we rode the bike with the black (smooth) ignition coupler installed, which is designated for use on hard-packed tracks." Well no shit it felt flat, black coupler is like 25% less power "made...

Aggressive map "white coupler" is the way to go all around for all conditions unless you are a beginner. Just as smooth but more power! Just learn to control the throttle, don't tame the bike!

I noticed this year in the true north races that there are more two strokes than fours in most classes. First time I have seen this since what like 2004. Is the same thing happening in murica races? Do you guys allow 250 2 v 4 in non pro classes yet?

In Canada 250 2t are allowed to race against 4t even in the "pro" levels. This is imo why they are coming back here. It's a little different to even playing field I think with motocross, as it stands it seems unfair for 250 4t owners and totally killed 125s since no use for them now since they are up...

neverstop Started a new thread RMZ 250 2013 SFF Very Harsh, Cant Solve

Hello Everyone I'm having a hell of a time trying to get these SFF forks working to my liking. I've never had this much issue before with non SFF forks so I'm asking for some help. I have had it re valved/rebuilt/oil taken out of right fork "320cc now"/sag set/played with preload/compression/rebound and changed spring already and the harshness at...

2012, yes it has SFF forks, makes no sense right? Someone told me its because of the chassis and kawi does different things with the damper side, unno but it works mint and hasn't even been re valved yet. Another guy said he had same problem with his 2013 rmz450 and sold it too, I have yet to see a...

Yes we get same as USA but we pay more for it because of our stupid taxes, I assume it goes to USA first then through our borders = tax rape. Right now the price is nice because our dollar is down but the ktm 450sxfs still cost 11-12gs without taxes so roughly 12-14gs even if our dollar is the...

Yea I went thru a ton of clutches but that was with the older 125s early 2000s. I rode the clutch like crazy because the bitch bogged all the time. The new ones seem to not have to clutch nearly as much, I was cornering third gear into fourth tapped without slightest bog which surprised me to say the least...

Yea plus I guess I haven't taken into account service costs for valve adjustments etc, that's one thing that's awesome with two stroke is everything can be done with a simple toolbox, beer and some parts. I'm lucky I haven't blown up a four stroke yet only a 125 a few times and 250 2t once Smile all this talk...

Have you noticed the newer 125s actually have tons of balls now? I rode a new yz125 few weeks ago and I'm 6"3 around 190 pounds and the damn bike didn't bog on me at all like the early 2000s did. I agree on it being the most fun bike without a doubt.

I really don't get how people think two strokes are cheaper especially 125s because of how much more you rev the piss out of them. The gas oil mix adds up in cost fast, constant top end changes, carb bullshit, Reed bullshit , when I raced my 125 I'd burn a clutch plate every race day or two also. Since...
