12/10/2012 8:49pm Did you check the chamfer on the intake and exhaust ports? The new rings may be catching an edge on them and making a noise.
Mxfan Started a new thread Exhaust porting
12/5/2012 10:14pm I noticed that my Yamaha Yz250 has an oval exhaust port, and the exhaust pipe is round. This leaves two ledges where the two meet. Does anyone know if these are important to leave alone, or can they be blended into the pipe flange? If its done, how does it effect performance?

12/2/2012 10:33am Had mine done at Pro Circuit. The exagust port was nicely polished. The intakes were quite rough. They left casting imperfections all through the transfer ports untouched. Spent a lot of time sanding them out. The people up at the shop are great. I didn't contact them with my dissapointment, and I don't know if they changed any of the...
