MX Council Added a reply to A plan to move dirt bikes out of Baltimore neighborhoods
3/8/2016 10:19am Just want to reassert that this is not MY PROJECT: it is Baltimore City wishing to create some kind of task force to create a dirt bike park. At this point I'm merely testifying in public that we are prepared to plan, design, build and operate a motocross park as well as a wheelie attraction. It's up to the City...

MX Council Added a reply to A plan to move dirt bikes out of Baltimore neighborhoods
3/8/2016 10:15am Uncle Tony, yes it will be open to the public. For me that is the whole point: it is public land, so it should be available to the public for use. And negative comments are fine and I've learned a lot. But I did already go through this on my own site so I was completely prepared for the dumb...

3/6/2016 10:30pm So based on Page 9 of this illustrious thread, the consensus is you don't have anything for me. Too racist. Wrong forum. Too much logic. Okay. Got it. Thanks for your contribution to opening a new riding area. You can all be proud. To the Dungeon! (or click, preferably)

3/6/2016 3:59pm I don't have a solution to their problem. Stolen bikes being number one in my book. Number two the safety issue of people riding wild in the streets. I don't see how they are thugs, they are street performers who get their thrill running from emasculated cops. Do I think that needs to stop? YES! What is my solution? I...

3/6/2016 3:55pm ...THUS the reason for coming to this moto community. Got any ideas before I attend the meeting?

3/6/2016 1:56pm The City Council introduced a resolution to address one their problems: the infraction of riding a non-licensed vehicle in the City. They have that right. Just so happens I've been having meetings with the Parks Department for 2 years about starting a motocross park in the City, long before the big unrest happened last year. Some of our riding community...

3/6/2016 8:00am One Last Comeback, thanks. I feel like this may be one last comeback for me too. You know all the proposal we've sent to the DNR, who (as motogrady put it) played us like a fiddle. We have a couple of irons in the fire, on both private and public land (and other meetings this week for them). I've got...

3/6/2016 7:37am Yeah, all that stuff. Motogrady, thanks for taking the time to detail all that stuff. That's been my life for the last 3 or 4 years. I just didn't have the time to go through all of that and submit it to the VitalMX Permitting Board. But you are exactly right. Everything must be thought through. Fortunately we have a...

3/6/2016 12:14am I'm not the engineer, my partner is. If you want detailed business info, please come to a meeting here in Maryland. This is a cesspool. People here just want to obstruct.

3/5/2016 11:49pm My words in context, just for the record: 'government does not pay for this we do ... I have no idea if this will diminish illegal street riding. Not my problem. But the City has land. They are asking a private company for some solution. To me the problem is not enough legal riding places locally. I hope to make...

3/5/2016 11:34pm Dollar sign? Fact: a motocross track will not make a profit (on the East Coast, anyway). Don't know what you mean about MX God. I'm done with Trolls. Sorry Jason, I'm done here.

3/5/2016 11:31pm Not trying to be an asshole, but I don't have patience when you OR OTHERS take my words out of context.

3/5/2016 11:18pm You do know that non-profit means business don't you. You keep repeating it like it is a derogatory word. It's not. Who is going to pay the employees. Maybe that is the takeaway message for today. Tracks HAVE TO make money. Or no tracks will remain. Thanks for the best wishes for a prosperous year!

3/5/2016 9:31pm SX track kind of sucks in places but I like the start. Reminds of Valkenswaard.

3/5/2016 9:29pm Thanks for reposting just. I was worried VitalMXers couldn't comprehend. You condensed it nicely: my dream is to open a motocross park using public land. As you may know, not every detail can be delivered to you, succinctly, free of charge, or free of some effort for you to grasp. I used to hold meetings on this sort of thing...

3/5/2016 1:21pm "This place is a cesspool". Hello, my name is Wind O'Neal. I run the only certified track and trail building company in Maryland. We have proposed to build a motocross track in Baltimore City. They are considering it. They've scheduled a meeting. I will go and put into the record what we aim to do. There is a lot of...
