Hi all, I have an 03 cr 125. I've been scurrying the Web on how to get a little more out of it and come across a few things to be done, however not much info on each subject. First being. The 7mm power valve mod? Can't find any info on this. Squish clearance? Again not much info on this...

Thanks guys, I'm guessing this Tom guy lives in the USA? I'm from the UK. I agree these engines are totally crap. This bike will just be used for bashing about, I have a sxf 250 and a tm mx 250 for the proper stuff.

Hi all. Just got myself an 03 cr 125. Got it for a bargain as something is wrong. Firstly it totally spat oil out the exhaust, previous owner then replaced the crank case seal and took it out on the track where it locked up. Previous owner seems to think it locked up due to oil being in the crank?New...

Got the carb off today and had a look at the jetting. Forgot to check the air screw. It is as follows Needle, 3rd clip Pilot, 55 Main, 165 Slide, 5 Keihin pwk s63a1haa Judging by the above article its not the correct jetting. Is this right?

Thanks for the reply chaps. Aside the carb issues the bike needs a lot of other work. Unfortunately I'm completely new to carb settings. I don't know the ins and outs of jets, if it's rich or lean. The most carb work I've done is fitted a jd get kit to my ktm, and even then I had help with...

Sorry I didn't meet everyone's expectations, the cover has sold and the buyer is anonymous, however it went for 400. If I missed out on 500/600/700 ect then that's my problem. I simply didn't have enough time to reply to everyone. No need to be bitter.

Time to sell my seat cover, I'd rather keep this as these are rare as hens teeth but it's sitting doing nothing in the shed. It's in surprisingly good condition. No rips or tears, very minor wear around the patches but otherwise excellent condition. Price wise I'm not sure, can't really price this as I haven't seen any for sale...

Hi guys, for the short time this has been up for I've been littered with so many offers and emails, I apologise to anyone who didn't get a reply but I must have got in excess of 20+ mails. And I've not had time to reply to them all. The cover has now sold to the highest bidder pending payment...

Hi guys, new to vital. All the way from Scotland. Picked up this KX 125 2000 for £400. Had been sat for years untouched due to engine problems. I started this a few months ago and just decided to start a thread. Most of the work is now done. I don't have a lot of time so slow progress. I'll...

Hi guys, so the bike has been completed. For now. Still some small bits needing attention. Yesterday was the first time out on the bike. Just doing some enduro at a local track. The bike fired up okay then died after a while idling. New plug and it was good to go. However. After a full day riding I noticed...

Hi guys, small update. Got my clutch bolt sorted. Drilled a small hole in the bolt and it just turned out no bother. Must have been a weak bolt. Got some goodies from kawasaki, new radiator guards, new brake pedal spring, stI'll waiting on new frame protectors, some frame protectors clutch bolts and a rear reseviour. Eventually got some pressure...

Ah, thanks. I didn't know it was a trough hole. That's by far the best option. I'll be giving that a shot when I can. As for frame guards I'm struggling to find a set of metal ones. I have the plastic ones but they are a bit shabby.

Hello again chaps, I have finally got my back wheel assembled, the bike is looking good. ( in my eyes) some small issues. Can't get pressure in back brake. Tried back bleeding, that one way valve method, keeping pressure on the lever over night, and the usual open close method. Still no luck. But that's nothing compared to my luck...

That was my guess, however before it was all stripped the brake made more pressure. I have heard it can be a pain but for me this is taking the biscuit! I'll persevere for now until I get sick.

Hi guys, picked up an answer kit at the weekend. Had been in the shop a while and forgot about. Sat at the bottom of a box. It's a James Stewart collection. Anybody have any info on it? Can't seem to find any like it.

I've got the 304 shorty. Still looking for a header. I regret putting it together too quickly. I wish I could have stripped everything and cleaned it all. But hey itching to ride the thing. Having major issues bleeding the front brake. I cannot seem to get any pressure in the lever, still going right back to the bar. I've...
