I like Chase but Im afraid its all between the ears. Honda bike issues losing the front, Jett and Hunter sorted it out. KTM hates the bike cant go through whoops, Tomac and Prado seem fine ie yes they have an updated shock. Kawi, rode for 3 mths set the bike up and couldnt stay on the track at A1...

The Stoke is full at PMG. Two rigs with Two Title Sponsors. In their pits you’ll find sponsorship from Twisted Tea & Progressive Insurance & Makita & WD40 & Dixxon & Cycle Gear & Midland Tractor…and too many industry sponsors to list. You’ve got Red Bull AND Monster on their rider’s helmets. You’ve got Fox, A-Star & Leatt gear deals. You’ve got an engine program that’s second to none…another “twist”…Twisted Development. Riders get to actually choose thier set-up. Go figure. And, get this, all 3 riders seem pretty damn happy. 3 riders in EVERY main. 3 riders in the Top...

Prado cooked a couple shocks when he first started testing, in one of the first videos of him on the bike a shock failed. Pretty sure they're on a different shock now.

Anyone notice a pattern forming with Chase unable to set up a bike, HRC days his bike was aggressive and forks very stiff. Keefer rides Jetts bike and its very vet friendly and easy to ride. KTM he has the shock settings miles apart which cooks the shock, Eli and Prado don't seem to have that issue. Kawi gets that...

Why not one race at the end of the year at LA Coliseum to decide the Grand National Champion with a huge purse. Im not a fan of the SMX as it dilutes the prestige of the Supercross and Outdoor titles

Playoffs are cool and the money is awesome, but I don't love the categorization of SX,MX "SMX" grouping everything together. We had the broadcast claiming RC is a "12 time SMX Champ", Sorry but no, get out of here with that nonsense. Man, I do miss the 20-teens era. We had Monster Cup, Straight Rhythm, better video coverage, and no SMX circus show playoffs. We had a proper 12 round MX series, and SX had better track builds. In RBSR, we had the likes of Travis Pastrana piloting a 500, and we had RV on a 125.. Retired guys would...

I went to the Gold Coast round and the track surface and prep was terrible. It needed more water when they built it and every rider said it was skatey as. The racing was great but track prep was concrete. Sweden round was a joke worst track Ive ever seen. And SA needed water too. Also how can you pay...

I help run a nonprofit club track and we do it right. Fences all around the track, flaggers and EMTs present even on practice days, and practices split up by skill level and bike size. I started my riding in So Cal and I remember being at GH on Thursday afternoons and watching little Johnnie on his 65 riding by followed by Ricky Carmichael. As a sport, we all need to do a better job if we want to be around in 10 years.

It has to be cultural difference thing but as a European, and a Finn in particular (we like rules and obeying them) i have always found it crazy that the very basic track safety aspects seems to be on a such a low agenda in USA. ATVs, Side by Sides, watering trucks etc a couple of meters from the track when people are practising or racing on the track. And during normal trackdays you see 50 bikes on the track and everyone from the beginner 85cc kid to Cameron McAdoo is hitting the track. That is complete madness and i...

I cant understand for the life of me the practice days at Glen Helen etc, Pro riders practising with 65cc kids together. In Aus it has been graded practice at all tracks for 20 yrs or so. To me thats a no brainer. Body armour mandatory too like MXGP

You could see halfway through the whoops that rear tyre letting go, he should have been running an old school Dunlop MX71 or dare I say a Bridgestone M22, modern riders just aren't familiar with tracks that aren't ripped deep.
