5/2/2018 1:56pm Came across this 1992 KTM 125SX. First KTM for me. Looks like a cool bike. Dyno Port pipe, aluminum subframe. Brembo master cylinder. Bottom end was not assembled correctly im told... Its too tight. The bearings, seals and crank was rebuilt, but i was told that whoever did the connecting rod used shims? Anyway im gonna open it up, see...

5/2/2018 12:46pm Thats what i am thinking they did. I was told it was the pro-x rod. On the receipt for the rebuild it was written down as a 1991KTM. Previous owner must have torn it down and deleivered the crank only in guessing. Its all starting to make sense... The 91 rod is thicker at the big end etc...? If this...

5/1/2018 7:44am I want to open it up, get just the crank fit in the cases and go from there. I was told the previous owner just assembled the whole thing and found out something was not right, after it was put back together...ugh!

The frame doesnt look fabbed up for the swap. Must have been an easy thing to do i guess. Gonna be a learning curve all over again. Oh well, ive seen some Franks and this...
